Jonathan was an outstanding and caring young
man that touched and continues to touch the lives of people around
the community. Jonathan was involved in a mid-air plane
collision in January of 2003 over Denver, CO. Jonathan's love
for flying was so deep he was often quoted as saying "why save money
when you can fly". A young man with such passion and love for
flying and technology is truly hard to find; he enjoyed life to the
fullest. While holding a job at Lockheed Martin he continued
to go to college and further his education, both in technology and
flying. His love for technology, flying and life was so deep
that in essence, he's the one that inspired us to start the JRL
Foundation. We want to carry on his passion for life the best
way we know how, and that's to pass his enthusiasm on to the world.
It didn't matter to Jonathan what you were facing, he was with you
through it all, taking the time to listen and seeing where he could
help. Jonathan also unconditionally volunteered his time for
friends and family to make their lives a little bit easier. He
reminds us, that living for the moment is just as important as it is
to live for the future. Jonathan continues to encourage us
all, and we are better people for having known him.
